So the controls in this are nice thus far. Love how this character moves about and It's very satisfying beating and hittin combos on the enemies.

One thing I did notice the music doesn't always play from start level. Only sometimes when i die and have to replay.

But over all this is a glow up from your previous demo! Amazing work! Still lovin the art direction for this!

So far im loving it and you guys did a tremendous job with the level layouts with power ups. find it easier to play on controller vs keyboard is quite nice.

i came across a bug when trying to enter world 3. it keeps on booting me out in the world select area every time i try to enter.

EDIT: NEVER MIND I JUST HAD TO FRESH MY BAD!

EDIT edit: its doing it again. it looks like when entering the first time its fine, but can't go to and fro at the entrance. it'll just bug out. (there are also a few death spikes i can walk on)

Are you holding the left stick? I think it might be due to that as it just needs a quick flick upwards, but if you hold it it'll cycle through pretty quick

my only small problem is the game crashes every time i gameover / lose battery on a stage.

Turns out the problem is a specific pop-up blocker on Chrome that somehow thinks the game is a popup and makes it crash 😭 Disable the blocker for Newgrounds and you should be fine!

neat. the humor could have been better (seems very mean spirited)

its weird yall have to state in the description that yall all are minorities to validate the taboo humor. im all for self deprecating jokes but most of it is dry and not clever. very on the nose.

We wanted something crude for the sake of being crude from shitty people we've met, the most mean jokes were towards two self-inserts (blitz who's Rina's VA and Raymond who's myself and we're best friends) and it's kinda meant to mock how dumb privileged white girls view people "lesser" than them. But it's understandable of not being everyone's cup o joe. It's our first game, we'll make future projects that vary with humor but also more less crude with stories c:

This game was a good point and click.

im sure you already know from other commenters with certain items being hard to obtain. I feel like if there was some kind of highlighting for hover over certain places you can inspect. it would make selecting easier.

other than than i think hints/ music are fine

The ending was definitely a shocking, disturbing moment.

funny enough when i got to the end my 6 y/o nephew snuck up behind me saying "Yo, that guy got tangled!"

thank god for him being innocent and naive.
